I am looking for bright vibrant coloured tiles to make an outdoor Mexican style table. I have tried some of the box stores but they only seem to carry colours that are in the beige and neutral scheme . I am looking for bright blues, yellows ,oranges , reds etc. I don't know I might have to travel to Winnipeg but if anybody has any ideas I would appreciate it .

I love DIY! If you don't necessarily need yikes can you paint onto the table? Do a base colour then use tape to section how you want. Go on google and search Talevera tiles. You will find pictures you can print and use transfer paper to put it onto your table. From there paint then seal with outdoor clearcoat (maybe in spray form). It'll be a lot of work but maybe worth it if you can't find anything. I know stencils exist but not sure where. Maybe you could get tiles online somewhere if that's not your thing?

I have used brightly coloured dinner plates for similar projects; just used tile cutters to break them up. You can find them at thrift store, yard sales, etc and get a nice variety of colours!

Try the second-hand places in the town - Habitat for Humanity's Restore, and the CMHA Re-Fit Store. I haven't been to either for awhile, but they often have odds and ends of "odd" coloured tiles (i.e. they're not the kind in style), for pennies on the dollar. It might take a few visits, and if you tell them what you want sometimes they'll call you if something comes in.  
 
My mom and I made a tile table years ago. It was so much fun!

I have a bunch of old stock from the 60's and 70's sitting around collecting dust... bunch of pastel colors... pink, blue, yellow, green.... PM me..

Rona will have to order but can get a lot of very bright colors
