Just thought I would say I bought excellent sandbox sand, nice brown wet sand like you find at the beach at Allen and Bollec for $20 a yard. Ask for bedding sand. They will let you take half a yard in your truck at a time if you like and they are very friendly!

We are getting rid of the sandbox in our backyard - free sand to anyone who can pickup and load themselves.

$20 a yard is a small fraction of what you pay for playsand at Home Depot or any other hardware store. 3 or 4 times the price and it has stones in it.

You should be able to get it delivered to your house for 20. $8 at Cat Country 4 miles south of town.

Nobody is going to deliver half a yard of anything for $20. Its not worth their time or effort.
