We are in need of our whole bathroom being redone. We want it to be tile, will need a fan put in etc. I’m looking for suggestions of who you recommend, why & what were your pros & cons of the company you used!

He’s very easy to talk to he did texting for use used texting sent lots of pics and all number depends on what U were looking for he did two bathrooms in our house one over the top and one just basic he did it all but i recommend talking to him

why doesn't anyone ever post the cost when asked what they paid

We're doing the exact same thing. I got a quote for a shower kit and another for a tiled shower. The tiled shower was almost 5000 more than the shower kit option. If there is any demolition involved then your costs are going to be a lot higher. We have just a basic build in an existing space and all the rough in's are there already (ie, the stack). So our bathroom install is going to cost around 10 grand.

We loved the work he did and he can think outside of the box! My only complaint was the time it took though it seems that is relatively normal unless you hire a very large company that has all the trade workers employed with the company. Love our bathroom though!

it has been 2 years that I have a few renovation plans in my house and not gone anywhere with it. It is big money to spend for this but I want to make sure the job well done (not shifting or collapsing over the time) and in here all I would get is recommendations with a name that is it I wanted to here further in their comment and no one can't post a small bad comment and lumber yards do not recommend any businesses anymore. One company construction owner is busy a lot with building houses and said 3x he would give me some good names but never did. So 2 years and no I will not hire a person without knowing a little more about their jobs I will hire and end up rehire another person to finish or redo a job. Renovations are not that cheap.

Like "it cost me about $5500" how hard is that?  
 
We all realize that it depends on the job but knowing that those are the numbers your dealing with helps. Like we were looking to do our kitchen and if we'd know we were talking $25,000-$30,000 for a 10X10 configuration counter and uppers we wouldn't have wasted the estimators time.

I know the price will change from job to job. But estimates are always welcomed, and if you don’t like something about a company, Pm me. This is a smal bathroom but big job, and I agree I want it done properly. Throw some photos up of your work. Let us see!! I’m gonna be picky with who we hire!

Bathrooms and kitchens are the most to renovate. To redo an old bathroom costs are probably going to start around $5000, plumbing electrical paint etc. Everyone wants tile until you start to price it out. It is very expensive but it can last forever if done properly. I posted a few pics! Have a great day!

Hello I’m a handy man and if anyone is looking at a bathroom Reno $5000 will not come close if your starting from scratch. plumbers will run at $5000-$7000 plus and tile range from $2000-$5000 depending on the style you pick and if there is heat mat involved . Then the electrician run anywhere up to $2000 . So a brand new bathroom can cost between $10k-$15k

Yes sorry, I should’ve said a basic bathroom is starting around $5000 without tile. If you’re looking at tile heated floors, steam shower etc. Then yes it’s endless and the cost goes up.
