The rain today knocked a bunch of things off my neighbours willow tree they were red. I Googled them and it says they are called catkins. my problem is they left huge black marks on my wooden deck and cement stairs and sidewalk. I have posted picture of my deck. I couldn't get any others to load.
My yard looks like a war zone there are so many of them. Has anyone ever experienced this before and what did you do to get rid of the marks on the deck??? I have lived here a long time and don't ever remember this happening before.
When I google this type of stain it says that leaves will leave marks if left sitting in rain water....and they will fade in a couple of weeks. I don't know if these qualify as leaves.
I tried a floor cleaner and Dawn dishwashing soap but no change. Any ideas or if it happened to you did they just go away eventually?????
