Just wanted everyone to know about Kirstyn (not sure if I have spelling correct) an associate in Home Depot's paint department. She is SO knowledgeable so if you're painting inside or out talk with her. She gave us great directions for redoing the stain on our relatively new deck. My husband had bought really cheap stain (NOT from Home Depot!) & after 2 winters it's already peeling. Kirstyn told us the right way to redo the staining so it lasts. Not an easy job but I anticipate that it'll stay on lots longer if we follow her directions!

I’ve had multiple similar experiences with her at Home Depot too! She’s just phenomenal, whenever I need something I hope she’s working

I find all of the associates at home depot super helpful without being annoying. They must have a great training program there.

I have not dealt with Kirsten in paints , not saying anything bad about her . My go-to's are Carol and Terry, they both have many years of paint knowledge . They also know the difference between paint and stain . We had one young man vowing we could strip paint with stain stripper , didn't go back to him again !

Next time your in Home Depot, make sure you fill out a feedback card on her. While I am not sure if Home Depot does, many companies have a bonus to the staff if they get a positive feedback card. People are very prone to fill out a complaint card, but very rarely do they fill out a positive one. This may also factor into future raises, and/or promotions. And you might just make her day.
