Just wondering what a good brand of electric garage heater is for around 800sq/ft new insulated garage?

There are several makers of construction heaters like above. They are all CSA approved. They vary from 4500 - 5500 watts and require a 220v outlet. I have mine hung on a shelf L bracket and can swivel it to point in different directions. You can keep your garage at a lower temp, say 40 - 50 degrees and it only takes 15-20 minutes to bring it up to a more comfortable temp to work in.  
And once you get it warmed up you can sort those Dollarama seeds, lol.

ya i have looked at the pro point ones. It will be a brand new garage and I would need to have around 7500w for an 800sq/ft garage but I have read a few posts and some heat with a smaller heater and keep theirs around 7-10c no problem. Just looking for what brand has worked well.

You’ll be fine with a 5kW unit heater. Make sure the motor is enclosed so dust can’t get into it (most unit heaters are but some cheaper ones aren’t). Also an FYI you can’t use a plug in unit for permanent installation. If something were to happen your insurance provider may not cover if the heater was the cause.

They were planning to hard wire it when they build the garage anyways.

Do they have a sale on vodka as well ?

The vodka there is regular price,maybe wait a few weeks be on sale then at good price. Maybe 3 for a dollar. Right now they selling Vodka seeds, and bushes.  
Planted one 3 yrs ago, produces a 40L a season after 3yrs.
