How is it not shutting? Is it just not latching? Is it binding/hitting on the jamb somewhere? Is there an obstruction preventing the closure?

The door seems too big for the opening now

Have had problems with this door ever since it was installed by homestead 2014. My husband had to manhandle it to shut it. Unuseable right now. Can you point us in the right direction?

check the hinges, are the screws loose? Sometimes they need to be tightened and then the door will close. Not a good sign if the door can move up and down, lol
Otherwise check perimeter and see if there's something keeping the door from closing.
Does the door frame stick out anywhere? Hammer it back if so.
Hope you get the issue fixed

We are still looking for some specific help. On a visual inspection with the door closed, everything looks okay. Afraid to open it again, in case it stays that way.

the latch? Sometimes on my door is the lock is not fully engaged on the inside the door won't close. Or the screws for the latch on the door or the frame could be loose. Hope this helps

Homestead still seems to be open...according to google. 725-1591 Could try them and see if they'll fix it. Or try someone else like Home Depot or Windsor Plywood. They do door installations anyways.

Ours does this every year at this time ,we just need one person hold door up while we tighten up the screws on the frame.
Got guy out 3 years ago check it cost 80$ and that’s all he did.

Because this is an exceptionally dry year perhaps something has shifted....I have known of folks who would leave their garden hose on at a trickle near the foundation , perhaps overnight, and the added moisture would help realign the structure.

Ys, my front door is the same too tight in summer cuz of dryness , expands. then in winter contracts losens up. And am positive about my house shifting cuz tooo dry
.
I've added vaseline to the door jam and to the door or rub a bar of soap or add dish liquid. seem to help.

Turns out the screws on the door frame hinge had loosened. Temporary fix for now. Thanks so much for all your help.
