Are there any local firms certified to do the pre & post inspections required to access this program ?  
Has anyone completed the program and received a rebate ?  
I am interested in window replacement in an older home.  
Comments please.

Getting your rebate is extremely hard and lots of obstacles involved. Trying to do it for my parents and its been on going for the last yr. Calling the support line is useless. They dont give you any information regarding your rebate and they always say to email them. You email them and they take 1 month to reply.  
 
Just a heads up..im still back and fourth with them and nothing solved.

There is a local company doing the inspections - prairieHOUSE Performance Inc. I had my initial inspection done about a month ago now and I'm just starting to gather quotes for work. I'd say to get on the government portal and go through the application process - at the end it lists the inspectors you can deal with and you choose one. Once your application is approved, they'll pass on your contact info to the company and they'll call to set an appointment. The inspector that came did a thorough job and I was happy.  
 
Future of the program isn't assured past March so best to get moving to be safe.

We also used Prairie house performance and they were great. The business that replaced our furnace was also very helpful in getting our rebate process started (Paradise Plumbing and Heating).  
There will be a "before" and "after" evaluation and you will have to register for the progam online and send in all your paperwork, so keep everything. It took 3 or 4 months for our check to arrive.
