Hey there looking to see if anyone has had any luck with appliance repair.  
Here's what I have tried:  
Anyday - currently out of Brandon  
Ron's - booking 2 weeks out  
Vern's no answer (not open until 9)  
Assinboine - tried calling twice no answer - no hours of operation listed  
Is there anywhere else in Brandon? I have a washer that is locked. I have tried getting the water out. Shop Vac is no longer taking out water, door still won't unlock. If I can get the door open I would be happy as I have stuff in there I don't want to go moldy or ruined sitting there damp.  
I can wait for the repair to be done (probably a pump) if I can just get the stuff out.

has a few suggestions, maybe try them. Just search "washer door locked"

Have you tried unplugging the washer from the electrical outlet and waiting for a while. It might reset itself. Just a thought. Hope you can get it opened soon.

Ron’s is terrible,don’t use them they will charge you an arm and a leg and say that this and that need to be fixed when it’s not necessary. I would search the internet for the make and model and see what can be done to get the washer to open first then find someone to look at it. I live out of town and got a place from neepawa to come look and fix mine.

Unplug and it will reset. You should be able to unlock door

Try unplugging it for 5 minutes and then plug it back in? Should reset. If not I’m out of suggestions.

I have unplugged it. It was unplugged immediately as I thought maybe the load was just unbalanced. It has been a random thing. Unfortunately this deleted all the error codes required to fix the problem. Note to self...write down the error codes. Water sucked out by shop vac, plugged in again...no luck. Also can't google model as that information is on the inside of the door.  
I did not google as I didn't think it would be this hard to find someone to come check it out.  
Vern's has come through for me on Wednesday. They were also kind enough to tell me how to find a release switch if there is one.

What make is the washer? The model number is usually there twice, have you checked the rear and/or the drain flap?

is Anyday. He was my first call but is out of town.

We also phoned around today for Appliance Repair person and got the same results. Ended up I was downtown and stopped in at Vern’s on Princess Avenue. I told him what our stove was doing and he told me the first couple things to check, that was very easy. Then if it wasn’t that, he said they could look at it. Ended up for under $100 I fixed it myself. I purchased the parts from Vern‘s.

Glad to hear Vern's coming through for people. We recently purchased from them and they were fantastic.
