Building a garage

I'm planning on having a detached garage built next year. I have a long and narrow backyard so it will have to be as small as possible (prob around 12x20 or a little bigger). I was wondering if anyone out there has done this recently, who they hired, and how much it cost (supplies and labour). I'm figuring about $10K and up. I already have a concrete driveway but would need the garage pad done.
