My husband and I are about to tear apart our porch (a big space) and are looking for decently priced flooring ideas. We have hardwood looking laminate on the rest of the main floor so we don't want to do that in the porch. We are very good DYIers, probably a 9 out of 10. We were considering tiling, but it's on a cement pad, so we would need to put a heated floor in, but we don't think we are up to that. Someone told me that there is a underlay for tiling floorings that gives a higher R value. Has anyone heard this? There is a lot of traffic through our porch and lots wet shoes. Open to lots of ideas!
