Basement Renovations

We have a semi finished basement and looking to put up a deviding wall between the laundry area and the other half of our basement.
Any suggestions, looking for a handyman to put up some drywall and half the ceiling.
The space is about 8x12. Anyone you would recommend, or should we try to DIY?
How much do you think this might cost?
