Could call any plumber. Also you can hook it up yourself. All there is to connect is the power, water, drain. Did mine myself. Old dishwasher went to the dump.

I think $125 is a reasonal price for an install.

If it is a built in like the one i just put in it is not as easy as fishing guy said.Connections are different so electrical needed as you can not just plug them in. Do it yourself or pay the man. The distance does add to the time.

The distance does not add to the cost in this case since they do not do installs out of town :/

Weird....  
Mine is a built in. I turned off the water supply and breaker to the dishwasher. I unscrewed the two brackets holding in the dishwasher. Pulled out the dishwasher from the cabinet. I unscrewed the drain hose from existing. I unscrewed the water line from the existing. I opened up the electrical box and unscrewed the two marrets joining the electrical together. Completely removed the old dishwasher, took out the new one from the box and slid it in place. Took my level and leveled it as per the manul. Screwed on the drain on the new washer, connected the marrets to the electrical box, went to screw on the water but needed a different adapter. Bought that at home depot for a few dollars. Screwed the two brackets on again. Turned on the water, checked for leaks. Turned on the power, ran a load of dishes.  
 
Actually reading the manual it was all step by step really easy to do. It was very easy to do.

It took me longer to run to Home Depot and back with the water connection than it did to install the dishwasher.

I did pull out the old dishwasher. Both the plumbing hook up and the electrical are different on the new machine then the old one so i stopped there... and as handy as i am around here with most things i think it would be wise of me to leave this one to someone who has at least done this once or twice before! lol

We had the same issue as you last year, finding someone to do the job.  
 
We didn't have a dishwasher in our home previously, so we found a carpenter/handyman, he cut out the hole in cabinet and made pieces to make it look neat and tight. less than 80$. Really amazing person. Arnold's Carpentry.  
 
We used Lance Plumbing and Heating (they were the 16th company we called), and they did it for reasonable cost not at all the prices I'm seeing on the forum) We have called them for everything since and always there is care in what they do and pride, and honesty. I like how they offer many options.  
 
Finally, we called around a got an electrician from Shillo, who we ended up hiring to put in 200amp service and upgrading the electrical outlets just because he offered to drive in, offered to slide the dishwasher in for us connect it, make a new outlet for the dishwasher, connect at minimal cost then, show us how to connect the plumbing at no cost.  
 
There are people out there that will help their community, and are patient with explaining things to their customers, and that have excellent reception staff that do not huff on the phone or hang up on you after requesting help with a dishwasher. These companies stood out as stellar, and professional.  
 
Highly recommend over and over.  
 
The whole install between the 3 people/companies was less than $100.  
And we thank them every time for not giving us attitude on the phone, or not telling us the job was "too small".

I paid $300 to Lance Wagner plumbing to install my used one I bought just for it to break! Then I only paid $100 to Brandon Appliance to hook-up my new one. Don't call a plumber. Call Brandon Appliance. They guy is awesome and usually does same day appointments!

$125 to instal is cheap imo but it is an easy job, still they said they wont come out to you and you feel you are past your skill set so hopefully someone will help you, good luck

No matter who you end up using, make sure that they're certified to be doing installations/repairs on the specific brand of dishwasher you've purchased.  
 
If they're not, and you have an issue with your dishwasher in the first year, you will have voided your 1-year post manufacturer warranty and will be SOL in getting the cost of repairs covered by the manufacturer.

The electrical is different? There will be a hot wire, a neutral wire, and a ground wire. Unless it's a 240 volt dishwasher there's no way it can be different.

My old dishwasher just plugs into what looks like a normal outlet.  
This new one is one big box with wires inside.  
So yes. It is different. And so is the plumping attachment.

i put in my own dishwasher and unfortunately needed warranty work done twice, they never once asked me if i had the work done professionally and even their troubleshooting had me unhook the power at the connection box myself while they waited on the phone so while i have heard your type of statement many times i dont believe your warranty is void doing the work yourself anymore

I put in a bosh and took the small hose they had and connected the normal hose. Connector that snaps in to machine. 3 wires to connect but my old washer was wired in as i do not think you can plug them in unless they are portable's. Drain needed to be 20 in. up in the line for some reason. Hardest part was trying to not get a kink in hose. Goodluck.

You say at the bottom that it cost less than a hundred dollars for the carpenter, electrician and plumber to do your dishwasher. Earlier in the post you said it cost less than $80 for the carpenter to cut the hole. By my math that leaves about $30 for the electrical and plumbing work...
