Long story short...  
We've replaced the pressure tank on our sandpoint. From a 14G to a 22G. The previous system appears to have no pressure control switch? Can we run our new system without the pressure control switch we just installed hooked up to power? It appears we need wire, so just until tomorrow.

Where did the power run to with the last tank, if you were using a jet pump and the power ran to the pump, it means the pressure switch was on the pump, so just plumbing the tank in should work. You need a pressure switch to turn the pump off once the pressure reaches a certain level.

The assembly that has the new pressure control switch also that has the pressure gauge, pressure relief valve & tap. If the switch is built into the pump, where is it? It's a Meyers pump, I see a box on the top/ side of the pump about the size of the switch.it's where the power runs into the pump & has circuit breaker info on the top? Assuming this is it, if it's not working right, can I bypass it for the new one I have?

Does run to the pump, to the box on the side. I do understand why I need it, but I've only seen the ones like I've put in here (separate)& the circuit breaker info threw me. it's got to be that box? Thanks for taking the time!
