My friend has a condo and was wondering about putting a crawl space in, she was wondering if it increases her risk of flooding? She was also wondering what size is best for the crawl space? She has looked into two contractors and is wondering who is better, Keller or J&G construction? Thanks all for the help.

I would go through J&G myself. Just my opinion.

Your friend would need to check with the condo board first for approval. I'm imagining this kind of thing would not be approved as it would likely chew up the lawn and change the structure of the units.

Is she building new, or trying to renovate an existing condo? If building new, put in a full basement. It won't be a whole lot more money than a crawl space. You don't have to finish it now, but it would be an option for the future.
