I am not sure if this is the forum that this should be one, but I thought that I would start here.  
 
Has anyone ever joined or checked out Direct Buy? I know that they have a location in Winnipeg, but I am told that it is $5,000.00 to join. I am also told that if you go for your complimentary visit and do not join, that you cannot come back for 7 years.  
The ads on tv state that people have saved thousands of dollars when they renovate and furnish their house. I have also read that you can get close to the Direct Buy prices from retailors if not cheaper.  
 
If anyone could shed some light on this, that would be great as I am looking at redoing my kitchen and of course would like to save any monies that I could.
