I'm starting a reno job and went to the local lumber store for the product needed. I went over the plans with the salesman and came up with a list of materails needed. I asked if he had everything in stock and his reply was YES. I also asked if I find I need more of the same product that I could get it, he also said YES. This was done a few weeks ago so I would have the materail for when I booked my holidays. The dilvery day comes and half my order was sent in the wrong color and would not be usable. I asked the dilvery person why there is two differant color, He said all he did was load what was on the list.  
So I called the lumber store and the saleperson said to send it back and they would correct the problem. Later that day I get a call and said they are out and the product has changed and they could ship it in 4-6 weeks and couldn't be sure it would be the same color. So much for the holidays I have booked.  
 
So I ask you was the sales person who Said everything is in stock said it to make the sale and hoped he could get it in or did he sell it out to someone else to make a sale? My order would have been about $2500.00 When I finished the job.  
 
IMO some salepersons word meens nothing.  
 
I sent the complete order back and got my money back.
