I've heard good things about MuckOff. They have a website www.muckoff.ca. Not sure what their rates are like though.

I would reccomend Voom cleaning. They can do a deep cleaning of your place and I think they can normally show up same day. They are on fb

What do businesses here in town charge for cleaning?  
And what is included in that cost?

I have Muck Off! clean my home every two weeks - they gave me an estimate before starting with a flat rate price. They're awesome, very professional.

I never had anyone clean my house but I would like to consider it.  
What type of cleaning job do they do? Like vacuuming, cleaning windows, blinds and even outside windows?

I don't think they do outside windows but the first time they were here they did all of my inside windows and screens, shampooed carpets, did both bathrooms top to bottom, kitchen, all my floors and dusted everything.  
 
What I really like is having an actual company to contact not just a random person in my house - paying by credit card is pretty convienient too!

We have an 1100 square foor bungalow - with finished basement. 2.5 bathrooms.  
I can't remember how much it was the first time they came - just under $200 I think but they did all the windows and screens as well as the rest of the house. Now we pay $80 every two weeks for the bathrooms, kitchen and all of the floors including the rec room and stairs - they move the couches and stuff too - I like that. I am pretty sure they dust the stuff in the living room and maybe bedrooms either that or my wife does it after they leave lol

Interesting. I was quoted over $250 for about the same size house (doesn't i:nclude everything) and my house is not that dirty. You would think it'll be about the same.

That sounds very expensive, clean by design did our house and it's 4 bed 3 bath 1,300 square feet finished basement and was fairly dirty. They charged around $125. She charges us $60 every other week now.

Just wondering if everyone is getting receipts from their cleaners?

I hope everyone else gives receipts, Muck Off! A Cleaning Company does. You get invoiced AFTER your service and can pay by cheque, credit card or even e-transfer.  
 
As for price, everyone offers different services, different rates and no two houses are the same so it's difficult to compare prices. All I can say is that if your cleaner gives you great service and price that's awesome for both of you . Win - Win

I just thought possibly the reason for cheaper rates was no receipt? I have had a few cleaners over the years and won't use anyone who doesn't give a reciept. You would be surprised how many don't

I'd personally go with Cleanups for a deep clean. They clean my house every two weeks (thank God, can someone say two kids under age two?!) Anyway, they do a really nice job, they totally guarantee their work, and they've been around for a long time and several of my friends use them too. I think they have a website or a Facebook which I will post if/when I find it. I had them do a good Spring cleaning at my house this year (eavestroughs, windows, and interior of my home... they also have a big commercial carpet cleaning van and have done my furniture and carpets in bedrooms and my basement.) Very good work, good price, and always gives me a paper invoice/receipt in my email.
