I have 2 spots on my carpet that are scratched down by my cat. One is at the transition between the linoleum and carpet and the other is in a doorway. Does anyone know of someone who does repair work on carpets? I have heard of patching and stretching to repair this type of damage and I have looked into both however I don't feel comfortable doing it myself and would rather have someone who knows what they are doing. I know changing the whole carpet is an option but it looks like stretching and patching is a more cost effective way to repair the carpet. I have been doing a bit of research into the repair and there are companies in Winnipeg and other cities that do this type of repair. So I'm wondering who in Brandon would be able to repair my carpet? If anyone has any suggestions or can help me that would be great! ***As a side note we figured out why the cat scratches and she no longer scratches the carpet***

Your best to call one of the major retailers like Jenkins or Stewart's. The installers subcontract their services thru them and should be able to pass the installer's contact info onto you. They should be able to recommend one of them too as some are better at that type of repair than others.

Murman has a good suggestion but by the looks of the pic you might also be able to go to home depot and buy a larger transition piece to cover the area, depending on actual size of course
