My daughter is graduating grade 12 this year. I need to get her a dress, but Buckingham Palace won't put me thru to Meghan. Where in Brandon does a Dad go where the staff can help with sizing, suggestions and all that stuff? All help will be appreciated.

It really depends how much you want to spend and when she graduates.  
If she’s graduating in June there might not be many options, but check out muse or promises bridal - more expensive. At this time you’d most likely have to pick something off the rack.  
Or le chateau in the mall has very nice dresses for a bit less.  
If you find out her size at one of these dress stores there are lots of nice dresses on eBrandon and Facebook for sale, that I’m sure people would let her try on.

Do what you can afford myself a single dad of. 2 girls nice to hear other dads are there for thier girls whAt ever y do she will appreciate it

I would try the Nearly New. I have got some fabulous fancy dresses there at a very deep discount. The volunteers are lovely ladies who will be helpful in selecting the perfect choice.

I was there yesterday and they have some beautiful gowns.  
 
Although, your little lady, may not want a used gown and that is very understandable - it's her special day!

I found Promgirl online to be fabulous and reasonable. Was able to get 2 grad dresses for about $200 each. So if she tries on dresses here and knows what size she needs.... it is quite simple.

One of my daughters graduated 2 years ago. I ended up going to Wpg to get her the dress she wanted, and we made a day of it.

I'm not a single dad but I was raised by a single parent. Everyone's financial situation is different whether they are a single parent or not. I knew my parent couldn't afford much so I was quite happy and content with a dress on sale from a store in the mall. It was even my idea to go that route as I didn't want them to feel pressured into getting me something that would have been a financial burden.  
 
Depending on your budget, you could try any of the bridal shops in town. Not sure how that works in regards to how far in advance they need to be ordered but some places may have "off the rack" dresses like an above poster mentioned.  
 
Another option if your daughter is ok with gently used, tell her to check with the local high schools. A lot of high schools have a grad dress donation thing set up yearly where people can donate their gently used grad dresses so people who may not be able to afford much can still get a dress. It just depends what they may have for sizes. I know when I graduated that wasn't an option yet to use.

I would recommend Tracy’s Bridal in Yorkton. They have a good selection and you can buy off the rack. Would suggest calling them first and give your daughters size. Customer service there is great. And you can walk in without an appointment.

Style is second. What look is she hoping for?  
There are some new, and gently used dresses, at the Nearly New shop by Superstore, loads of sizes. Check out some "buy and Sell" Facebook pages, or the clothing section here on Ebrandon.  
Le Chateau has nice dresses, some of the bridal shops, but they are expensive.  
Maybe take your daughter and one of her friends to Winnipeg for the day, Polo Park is awesome for dress shopping.

we have a grad dress worn once. Depending on the size and what her taste is for style we have one for free

I have a grad dress she can have. It’s a size 8 if she’s interested. My daughter purchased it in Winnipeg. It’s a blush color with sequins at the top.

We just got a beautiful dress custom made for under a $100 at eshakti.com. It took two weeks and better than what we saw in town.
