Hi,  
 
I'm coming to Brandon in May with my 9-10 month old, just for a week. I was wondering if there are any infant drop-in and play, or infant swims, etc., that I could take her too. Does the public library have baby programs planned this far in advance?  
 
I've been trying to read the Sportsplex website (which is just awful) and I can see there's a Parent and Tot swim, but I can't find any details about it or pricing. Does the Sportsplex or YMCA have heated pools? Are there any hotels in town that allow people to buy a swim pass for their pool (I doubt it, but I've had friends who've done that in larger cities).  
 
It's also my first Mother's Day being a Mom. Does anyone know of fun events, or supper specials happening for that?

I have kids between 5yo and 6months, and I go to the YMCA. Pool is warm. There is a "u and me" swim Tuesdays. I would check out their website (which is far better than the website you visited for the other pool in town!)

If there's a schedule that far in advance online, but check out the elspeth reid resource center. I think they have a drop in play Friday mornings for 0 to 5.

The Baby Bump has Mommy and Me yoga and a baby music class. Sometimes they have craft workshops. As an added bonus they have a little shop that sells hard to find baby items in Brandon.  
 
You can check out their website or even email them to see what they have planned for the week that you will be there, if they don’t have it on the calendar yet . The owner is very friendly and quickly responds back to emails.
