Reaching out to the e-Brandon community and any childcare providers that might be reading this. I am looking for either part-time or full-time care for my son for December/January. He will be 1 in December, I return to work January 4.  
 
I had a private daycare lined up while I was still pregnant but in June she knocked on my door and told me she was closing. So my name is on all the waiting lists but still nothing.  
 
It is VERY important for me to find quality childcare for my son. I am a first-time mom and placing my child in the care of a stranger is a terrifying idea!  
 
I can't believe how much fluctuation there is in price... A licensed daycare charges $20.40/day for an infant and private daycares charge anywhere from $25 to $32/day, some of those not even including lunch.  
 
HELP!
