I am looking to move out of my apartment, and am wondering if anybody out there can tell me what it's like living in Aspen Woods. I have a small child and would like some green space for him to safely run and play.. Do they have yards? What about the wait list/vacancy etc..? Any other places to suggest would be great. Thank you

Amax, I have been on a waiting list for over a year now, have one child myself, and most recently contacted them to see if any units are/would be soon available.  
 
First off - the lady I was in contact with was awesome! So very nice, and informative.  
 
Secondly - at this time, there were no units available. I have since found other accommodations.  
 
The units that have a yard are either one bedroom (loft style) or 3 bedroom. The rate (from last I was aware) was around $750 or more. You had to have an additional $800 to enter into the Co-op portion.  
 
However, as it has been a long time since discussing rent & Co-op rates with them, I would highly suggest getting in touch and making an application.  
 
Although it may take some time, and you are on a waiting list for awhile, it may be worth it in the end. Especially if it is a place where you really want to live.

I've lived there for the last 6 years or so, in a townhouse with a loft, then into a 2 bedroom apartment, and now again into a townhouse without a loft. Overall, its a very good complex, Cathy, the site manager is very friendly and helpful, and Gus the maintenance guy, is great. Very quick to do any repairs and they are done well. For the price, I don't think you can beat it in Brandon to get the same size of place, my friends always made a point of saying they were surprised at how much room there was in our apartment for the price we paid. Definitely worth your time to put your name on the list.

Thank you. I live in a town house atm for 4 years.. Not really much a yard though. I would be looking for a 3 bedroom at least, as when I move I don't plan on moving again for a long time. How are the yards there? Do some of yards and not others? Do the 3 bedrooms have a small green space? I think I will call and get myself on a wait list.. Maybe in the future I will get a spot

All of the townhouses will have a yard, some are fenced, some are not. If it doesn't have a fence and you want one, it comes out of your own pocket and must be chain link (coop rules). Yes, all the townhouses have a front and backyard with lawns, that you maintain yourself (weedwhackers/mowers are available for members to sign out and use). Best bet would be to take a drive by and check them out for yourself.
