Which Church?

I'm new to Brandon. Well, not new. I'm back. I lived here when I was in college a few years ago. Now my entire family, pretty much, is in Brandon - my brother and his wife, my sister and her boyfriend, my parents, and now my husband and I.
I am trying to find a church that would fit me best. I know I should probably just go to a bunch of them and find out, but I'd like to have your opinions.
I was raised Catholic and am still fond of the faith, but I want something a little more... how do you say it? A little more... ugh, I can't even think of the word.
Where we lived previously I had gone to the Evangelical Lutheran Church and I really enjoyed that, but maybe it's because they shared the minister at the United Church who'd often come over to preach.
I'm looking for a Church less structured and formal than the Catholic Church, but I'm not going to be comfortable somewhere where people are talking in tongues and weeping and listening to "Christian" rock. Not that I have anything against this - some of my best friends belong to Churches like this, but it's just a little much for me.
Any reccomendations?
