I am the newly selected downtown development specialist for Renaissance Brandon.  
 
As part of our strategic plan we are developing communication channels (like this forum) to encourage community involvement. Pretty much everyone has an opinion about our downtown (good or bad) and we would like to hear from you. This will give me an opportunity to address issues and collect your brainstorming ideas and solutions. These ideas will be used to shape a community vision/plan for downtown that works for as many people as possible.  
 
A few guidelines for this forum:  
 
1. Please do not “bash” other peoples’ ideas or questions – you can certainly disagree, but do it with respect.  
2. If you raise a concern or a problem regarding our downtown provide a solution or an idea on how to fix it. We want to keep the discussion moving in a positive direction.  
3. If you do not feel comfortable posting your concerns or ideas in this forum you can email them to me or call me.  
 
This is a great opportunity to have your voice heard, to influence the development of our downtown and to play a part in making great things happen.
