I have some old Northern Electric wooden floor model radios. One is Deforest Crosley in original box with registration papers from 1940's. It used to run on some form of battery what I was told, but not sure who in MB would know something about how to power it up to AC/DC to test it. (Unfortunately, I am better with modern electronics).
So two with 120V plug ins work OK and light up. I don't know who can finish them, or check electronics.
Would love them to go to someone who truly admires them for historical/nostalgic reasons or show off in their B&B or find them a museum? I have lots of photos of inside and out, and making a video of them operating.
I wrote to Canadian Antique Radio Collectors forum, but no response. Any ideas or info...TIA.
