They're saying those reports were erroneous now, and that he's still alive.

I hope so, he recently said this tour he just finished would probably be his last, and that he'd like to spend time being a grandpa. Here's hoping for some sort of a happy ending on this absolutely miserable day.

Scratch that, CNN is just now quoting his manager that he did in fact pass away. Sad news.
