    I just received a call from a woman at 204694**** stating that she had accidentally opened my mail with a cheque for 115.00 in it. Then wanted to know if she had my correct address and would forward it onto me.  
    She had my address too and number obviously. Anyone else have an issue like this?

    I cannot figure out what the scam is.  
     
    I have been Googling the phone number and have come up empty.

    When you google the number it says it is a safe number in Winnipeg. Not certain if that helps but I would just get their address and go pick it up.

    She was in Winnipeg, with a strong accent....how would she have gotten my mail?

    Never mind. I figured out what has happened. I sent a cheque into Winnipeg for a convention, and it went to this address. Obviously the wrong address on the form. Thanks.
