I can’t find information online on how to obtain a class 4 drivers license. What is all involved and what is the cost.

Charges for road tests are as follows (subject to change):

Class 1 - $50
Class 2 or 3 - $45
Class 4 - $35
Class 5 or 6 - $30
Air Brake Practical Test - $30

You need to go to an MPI office and do a written test. Then, once you pass, you need a medical done (anywhere from $50-100). Once you take the paperwork for the medical back to MPI, you then get your learners. After having that for (I think) a minimum of 2 weeks, you can phone the MPI office and set up a driving test. Pass it and your done.

Yes written test which is not hard to pass, a medical, and the road test is done in your own vehicle. The road test just allows for less mistakes than class 5 does

From what I remember when I got mine, that's the drill. Just be aware that it doesn't take many deductions to fail the driving test. Follow driving procedures to the letter(check mirrors, signal and shoulder check for lane changes, always turn into the closest lane when cornering, etc.)

You have I take a written test, have a physical done at your doctors, then do a practical (road) test.
