Well it’s finally warm enough to wash my car where tdo most people like to take their vehicle ? Last year I used to take mine to the car wash behind Lee’s restaurant but I don’t know if it’s open anymore ?

I believe that one is still open but Glacier wash (on Park ave) is the best!

Co op on 6th street is my go to car wash. You get more time for your toonie here than at the other ones.

Co-op on 6th lasts longer, and more prussue then youre other car washes. If you don't want to wash it yourself co-ops laser washes on 18th and richmond work well in my opinion.

Esso on 6th. Very well organized and maintained.

Coop wand wash. Toonie=4 minutes of use. Great pressure!

I have family that is a general manage at Chamois. They've talked about coming to Brandon, but figure that between the farmers and the oil patch workers they would get killed on their clean car guarantee, LOL.  
 
But yeah, I wish it was here too.

I too support the Co-op on 6th Street.  
 
There is always someone there to get change for you, help you if something malfunctions.  
 
The one on Park, you can never seem to find an attendant.(before they put the new pay system in, if you needed loonies, or wanted to get an air freshener, since the vehicle is clean) It is expensive compared to Co-op.

I've thought for a long time that Brandon would love a Chamois car wash. If I was younger and entrepreneurial (and had the funding, LOL) I would definitely look at opening one, hopefully someone does.  
 
We need more then just restaurants in this city.

Curious how Glacier prices?

I prefer glacier over any other car wash.  
 
I also agree with TEN comment about the chamois. Brandonites complain about everything that costs them more money, just view some of the latest threads.  
 
A glacier type building costs 2-3 million. A chamois type your prob looking double that.

Another vote for Glacier. Bigger bays, longer wands.

The touchless at co-op is good enough in my experiences. Glacier is a close 2nd for the very rare times that I was out on gravel as the touchless doesn't really get the dirt etc. out of the wheel wells.  
 
As for 'Brandon missing out' for not having a Chamois, as it is, there are people who complain about free complimentary washes at places that offer the service. These complainers expect perfection as in they want a detail without paying for it. So no, Chamois wouldn't have a chance.

go there all the time as is close and handy, but your only getting a minute per loonie, sounds like double the cost compared to the Coop  
 
i have wondered if they were altering the time depending on how busy cause at times it seems a bit longer.

The 6th Street Co-op Coin machines last longer and I find the wash is hotter than the Park Avenue Glacier place. I find co-op car wash better and brighter.  
 
But I do like the doggie wash station and it's very handy on Park Avenue.

Since Co-op on 6th put in new equipment the time is no longer than anywhere else. They even make you pay for air now. It's no longer my go-to car wash.

Glacier wash usually takes about 8 dollars to do my station wagon and that i:ncludes mats and vacumming.

Does Glacier have air pressure hose to dry off floor mats and to remove water off door cracks? How do you pay at Glacier? Credit card or coins?

Try Boss Lubricant on no 10 just by the airport.  
 
We have now switched to them as it costs way less than other places, we get a receipt and no lines

Inside the co-op used to be free, not you have to pay for it.

I use Giant Car wash in the valley if my car looks like a dung heap ( most days in the warmer winter weather ) or if I am in a rush, I will use the Co-op carwash on Richmond. I gas there, so I just get a scrub there if I am in a hurry. Temperatures be damned, I wash the car at -30 if it needs it. I just lube the door and trunk gaskets when I get home. Better than waiting for warmer weather when you have to fight the rush.

I dont think glacier wish has an air hose. I have never used it anyway. It takes coins and credit cards.

Our family also uses 6th Street co op. The new pay system has changed it up a bit but you can use a credit card now.

I tried Glacier once but required a receipt and couldn’t find anyone to help. I like Giant wash as there is always an attendant there and gives receipts. I also like the Coop on 6th but in the winter too many customers spend far too much time letting the cars thaw out while there is a huge line up or just use buckets, fill it full of water and wash there vehicle. They don’t spend a nickel while there. That’s the main reason I go to Giant.  
Is the car wash at the Husky at 1st and Princess still I open? It use to be my go to car wash.

Find the best place to take a black vehicle. Some I find leave behind a white residue.

I wash my truck at work now, but if I'm looking for a car wash in the city hands down it's Giant Car & Truck Wash. So far as I know (and I haven't been there for a while so it may have changed) but they go solely on time. Pull up, get a time stamp, and however long it takes you to wash is what the basis for what you're charged. So you don't have to worry about having enough loonies, or making sure to hit stop if you're using your credit card.

Drive a large truck and always go to the giant car and truck wash. Usually around $9 and it looks good after so love it

Me fav is glacier. I use my credit card so I’m not wasting time running around the vehicle to plug the meter. Usually between 5-8 for my CRV.
