I just drove by Louise Avenue and 15th. there are several ambulances and firetrucks as well as a lot of police. The blocks from Victoria to Lorne and 15th to 17th have been taped off.

I will not speculate but if anyone knows what is going on, feel free to chime in.

Im curious as well. I live one block away, and could see a fire truck as well from my place when I got home from work. Dont know what happening, will wait for a statement to read

I live a few blocks away myself. Curiosity killed the cat..... I am not going to walk over there and rubberneck like all the other people I saw standing around.

And with over 600 views already, I would say more than just the two of us are curoius.....

That sounds concerning, I hope nobody is seriously hurt.

A couple of posts had to be removed. If this is a topic of interest you’re welcome to post. If your only contribution is to tell people you’re not interested, find another thread. Anyone who consistently interjects into threads in said way will lose account privileges.
If anyone learns anything more or comes across another source with information please update.

I saw a comment on another social media site that there is a standoff. It was not an official comment or site, and no other details were given.

Police situation

Can’t find anything in the media about what’s going on, but I’m guessing it’s a police standoff with someone barricaded in a residence. Lots of police vehicles including the BPS ERT truck and a pumper truck and ambulance have been on scene for the last few hours. Multiple streets are blocked off too in the area. Hopefully everything’s resolved peacefully.

Read on fb that a guy was being evicted from his apartment and now has barricaded himself.
Not a for sure fact, just passing on one persons comment

I'm not certain if it's related but live a 2 blocks from the action, and I saw lights in That same spot last night at about this time. And they were still there when I got home from work today, and there still there now (11pm the following day) so I'm thinking they have been there for a full 24 hrs at this point.

Live right across the street and it’s a stand off guy was yelling for a bit but not sure if it’s because of drugs or what I was just told to stay away from the windows as they have no idea what weapons he has

Have to give our city police a big applause what ever happened here is over they got the guy to surrender and no one was hurt give them credit for the patience they had and just let it play out
