Fun little find when taking the dog out for some fun this AM. See attached pic. Painted rock of “Peter the Potatoe” with the words “Westman Rocks. Share. Keep. Paint. Find” on it. Assume someone has planted a few more around town. Anyone know more or see any others?

Where abouts did you walk the dog?

I will keep my eyes out later when I take the dogs out. Saw the Facebook page, looks interesting.

If I'm understanding the concept I probably shouldn't share exactly where I saw Pete, except that its a large open and well-treed field within city limits

FINDING AN ART ROCK:
If you find an art rock, take a picture, share it with us here and either keep it or re-hide the rock. There is no requirement of replacing art rocks you find with another art rock.

PLACING/HIDING ART ROCKS:
*Mark the back with "Westman Rocks". If you have space for more instructions i:nclude "post picture to Facebook" and "keep or rehide".
*Place them in public places, not private property.
*Do not add or remove rocks from Provincial or National Parks or along railroad beds.
*Do not place rocks in the grass where they may be hit by lawnmowers or weed whackers.
*Do not attach anything (ie googly eyes, paper, pompoms) to the rocks and this may get lost and creates litter and may be cause problems for wildlife.
You may give hints of where you have placed/hidden your art rocks or not but it's not required”
