Had a larger man wearing plaid ring my door bell at 830pm tonight asking if I wanted to buy AVON bug repellent and held it up, he was also carrying a walmart bag. Said he was selling it for charity and would not specify the charity.  
 
Clearly said was not interested.  
 
Anyone else have this person show up at their door tonight?

8:30 pm is quite a border line to be a bit late hour to go by doors plus a walmart bag is weird. Simple for me I do not open doors to people I do not know unless I see a delivery carrier or a work company vehicle.  
Years ago a program said not open the door if you do not know the person because once you open that door you are done he/she is prepare to their plan for you and you are prepare.  
I say to my kids do not open doors to stranger no matter what age you are and someone say they need the phone to call then the program said you tell that person that you will make the call for them but not let he/she enter in your house.

Not giving you a specific charity is a big red flag.
