    Looks like it is being shut down. Hoping thats not the case. Hard to believe that there is only one set of gas pumps in the west end left. At a convenient store thats is not very convenient when you require gas. Just saying

    I believe they are renovating it. That's what the sign on the fence says.

    I’ve found it to be the same as everyone else lately. It’s also a lot more convenient getting in and out of that parking lot!

    They are just doing renovations to car wash and canopy area of gas pumps, is what they told us on Saturday! It’s not closing!

    It will take 6 weeks of what I was told. My workplace is using another gas station to fill up our courtesy fleet, sold for deliveries et al until the renos are done.

    Other then the ones on first street I don't remember any place that sold gas in the east end. In the west end there used to be 4 places that sold gas in 2002 , going west from 18th street when we first moved into our house. Good to hear that there just renovating. With the frequent open one day closed the next in the past year. Makes one wonder if the station is going to be around much longer.

    Many decades ago(more than I like to admit), there was a gas station/restaurant on the corner of Victoria Ave. & 11th St. E. It's undergone some major renovations over the years, and is currently the Manitoba Heritage Housing Corp.

    It's about time.  
     
    I used to work there, and I hated that car wash. Typically on a long weekend Friday (or really, ANY Friday) when the pumps are lined up and the till has a line-up, would be when it would break down. And so everyone waited whilst I sorted that out.
