I tried to go on bdnmb website but I keep getting an error message! Could someone list events and things to do this weekend including Canada day? Thank you

Yes especially for those who cant use buses due to no service on Canada Day. And cabs get expensive...

There's stuff going on in Minnedosa. Although if you can't get to the Riverbank, I'm not sure that's going to help you...

Usually Shilo has stuff too. They had a huge smash last year, but I'm not finding much online for this year.

There's observing going on at BU at the observatory. It's free, but you have to get tickets online.  
 
"We will be opening up the observatory from 9:00 pm to 12:00 pm for people to join us in observing planets and fireworks. We have limited space, so free tickets are available on Eventbrite starting at 12:00 pm, on Thursday, June 28, 2018. We only have room for approximately 50 people, which also means that seating space is limited. We are restricting the # of lawn chairs to previous arrangement only. "

Shilo will have Danada D-eh again this year, but a lot smaller scale than the last two years. Here is a schedule of their events:

Not interested in the riverbank event at all … thank you all! Any events tomorrow and Saturday too?

I wont attend either, but for my own reasons, being traffic...This whole idea of expanding, putting in a covered stage to attract more people is all well and good, but there also needs to be an updated traffic plan. That corner at Covservation Road and Kirkcaldy is a nightmare most of the time, especially driving west. If there are more than 3 vehicles, its impossible to make a right turn into the Corral Centre, busy times the vehicles are backed up to Cater Drive. With the added traffic flow, there will need to be some changes made, its all part of progress.

at the Riverbank Discovery Centre. Myself along with others will have telescopes setup. And no tickets are needed for this viewing, only the BUAO.  
 
Of course this is contingent on it not raining.
