If you like greasy chicken, then don't go there. They are not. I find them moist and not overly coated with grease. Would go back.

Everyone has different tastes and really chicken is chicken. We had it tonight, the wife didnt like it, For me it wouldn't matter if it was this or KFC.

I've been there several times now and really like their chicken. One thing I don't understand though, is they won't take orders over the phone. We bought $130 worth of chicken today and had to go there, order and wait. They refused to take the order over the phone. Does anyone else do that?

I called to order in advance and they told me they don’t do that. When I asked why they said they don’t have the extra room to hold and kept orders warm.

I went there on Wednesday. The order was done quickly. The chicken is way too salty and greasy for my liking. I will stick to Chicken Chef or even Co-op if I want fried chicken.

I didn't find it salty at all vs other chain. Found the crust on both chicken sandwich and the chicken to be light, and even light on grease.

Like I said I've had it several times and never found it the least bit greasy, and the seasoning is definitely not too salty. To each their own I guess.

Had a chance to give these guys a try.  
Re the main event (chicken)... v.good taste so don’t get me wrong, but if given it and KFC I’m not sure I’d see enough of a difference for my amateur palate to distinguish (I like KFC too so not saying that’s totally a bad thing). Would probably for me come down to deal/price to feed my family in deciding if it was based on chicken.  
 
The potato wedges I think I can safely say were great. Like use self control or I’ll get myself into trouble and eat more than I can handle great.  
 
One other thing I like that they do is give the two combo pricings... one with a drink and one with just the chicken and potato. Personally have reached the point with some fast food places where depending on the combo deal I’ll take the drink, dump it down the sink and grab a glass of water by choice. Looks like less issue at this place with having to potentially do that.

I just wonder how that location will pan out. I know from experience that not being "easily accessible/findable" is a nightmare. Our location isn't hidden or anything but it's just off the main street enough that if people didn't HAVE to come to us I very much doubt they would.

About all I can say to that is nobody had any trouble finding it last night and it might not have been the worst thing in the world of a few people did  
Insanely busy lined up to the door from the time I got there to the time I left about a half hour later. Do wonder about “out of sight out of mind” with places that aren’t directly on the main street but I see they have a West facing sign right on the 18th St portion of the building which might help?

I was there before the rush, and was in and out in five minutes. Their coleslaw is very good too!

And I was very happy with the chicken...I really hope they stay as busy as they were when I was in there. There’s been a bit of a fried chicken drought in Brandon but with Mary Browns and Chicken Chef things are looking up.

Place is just buzzing with staff and customers.. must be the coupons that just came in the mail..

There are coupons? Hmmmm I didn’t get any. We went again on Friday. 15 minute wait, place was full. It’s so good. I love everything

Was recently in B.C. and really surprised to see a Mary Browns in a Walmart in Vernon rather than MacDonalds.

Imagine it’s going to be a busy supper hour... doing their grand opening and the offer is 3.99 for 2 piece chicken and taters

the other night and it was great! Wedges are great, and chicken was not salty. A nice change not to feel the need to drink a pail of water, after the meal! Was good an hour and a half after pick up.
