-Its not what’s best for children it’s what’s best for lawyers pocket books
-Be sure every pre-trial is on record otherwise council will send incorrect orders or incomplete orders to waste time and make more money (spent 1.5 hrs in courtroom to complete final order and council sent incomplete order and because not on record nothing I could do)
-Narcissistic people pull the wool over assessors eyes and are praised
-Assessments are unrealistic, cause a huge stress on the children and they are understaffed to do a proper job
-It’s about deals and threats by Narcissistic ex’s council and not about what’s best for the child
-there should be no deals on how much parents have to help their children/what activities a child can take/not paying back child support should never be i:ncluded into any kind of deal in court etc
-If you have a difficult ex be prepared to spend many years fighting for what’s right and ultimately ending up settling so they don’t keep dragging your children through the craziness
-Legal system needs to be streamlined ASAP ITS DESTROYING FAMILIES
-parents should be responsible for contributing to half of anything to do with their children
-a parent should not be able to refuse opportunities for their child so they don’t have to pay
-mutual agreements for activities, sports, etc is BS when dealing with a difficult ex (typical in my world my ex never agrees to anything so he doesn’t have to pay for it)

***Its a crime that the legal system fails our children***

Fortunately for me never encountered this. It highlights the importance of keeping your personal records of any or all meetings. Regular updates with lawyer and being on their back if necessary. Which goes for any situation not just this.

I hope that you will better experiences to come.

splitting up the family with kids is hard; but in the end if either of you aren't happy it is the best thing.

It’s not about the children. It’s about the parents. And what is a person to do when one parent refuses to cooperate with anything? There should be a way to enforce agreements made and not allow lawyers to change things whenever they feel like. Whole system is a complete joke. And being told constantly to put the children first and just get along doesn’t work.. if we could agree on things maybe we wouldn’t be getting divorced! When you have clear evidence of one party’s refusal to cooperate that should amount to something. Unfortunately the judge doesn’t ever get to see that evidence. It’s set aside as petty bickering. I have a narcissist of my own. Completely feel your pain.
