ok the Elections are over an soon the Canada election . i never heard a word about old age pension . all talks are about heath care an crap , nothing about seniors that really helped to build this country 60 to 70 years ago . an now most are fighting to make ends meet .

Well, the election that just happened would not have addressed pensions because it's not within the scope of responsibility for the provincial government, but health care is. Hence, that's why the discussion was focused on health care.  
 
However, I don't really expect to see too much pension talk coming out of this federal cycle as there's lots of other issues taking priority. The best way is to create your own pension by building savings. I don’t trust others to look after me.
