We have a Y membership, so we usually swim there. We like that the water is warmer in the leisure pool for the littles, as well as the universal change room (important as we have a disabled child). We also like that we can access the hot tub, playstructure, gym, etc on the same visit.
I think if you were paying per visit, the Sportsplex is cheaper, and if you go on specific days general admission is $2-3 a person, which is a great price. But, we find the water cold (older kids don't mind as much, but it's too cold for our under-5 crowd) and they only have male/female change rooms. But the pool is deeper, and the older kids like the diving boards, etc, which the Y lacks due to the depths (10 feet @ Sportplex vs. 6 feet @ Y).
Both have waterslides, both are great facilities in their own right. So it really just depends on your needs and preferences.
