Wondering about how they pick their contestants and how you register. On the website it says 3 hours before to register. I have heard through the grapevine that someone has already been chosen to be a contestant. How is that possible? Anyone else heard anything?

Contestant selection is random based on registration done in-person on the day of the event at the venue. Registration begins 3 hours before the show and closes 15 minutes before it starts. You have to bring a valid form of ID and you have to register in person yourself.
The folks with the show have confirmed for me that there is no advance registration (nobody has been chosen). Everyone will have the same chance to be in the random selection on the day of the event.

the price is right live website says that you have to be 18 or over to participate, but kids under that can still get tickets and watch the show, they just aren't eligible to be a contestant.
