Strange Holes

Wondering if anyone knows what these holes are from?
Have a Garden Hose in there past half hour and nothing came out...

Have had similar holes, but also never saw any animal using them. Around the same time, I was being overrun by chipmunks. I don't know for sure, but I was told chipmunks do tunnel in the ground. Like I said though, I never did see them actually go in the holes.

This would be my guess. We have dozens of holes that look just like this running the length of our lane and they're made by these guys. We tried running water down the holes but I think they are all interconnected by tunnels so it didn't accomplish much.

Guess would be a vole.. buy a mouse trap, set the traps and cover with a bucket. They usually are active dawn and night time. See if you catch anything.. victor brand sell vole traps...but are expensive.

Well think a Vole is what is in there and in our area there is tons of sand too so the water didn't do much....Think going to try pouring Gas down there and light it up .....or Propane and give it a Spark...See what pops up...

Some of us have done this at one time or another. But in our younger days. Hopefully cooler heads prevail. LOL
Usually doesn't work that well for the humans.

Well this got some people looking....No would never try Gas in backyard...If I was living out in the country then for sure would try it...

I wouldn't try the gas or propane. Mouse traps work great. But use my technique. Put some peanut butter on the trap as well..

If your that desperate ( the gas nonsense) a suggestion maybe, try some of that Great Stuff that expands big time when u spray it. Is it called Great Stuff??, hope u know what i'm talking about.

And yes mouse traps with peanut butter, small amount is a gr8 idea also.
