No one should have to put up with rude and disgusting comments. Sad that in 2021 this is still happening.

It's so sad that 25 years after I worked retail this bs is still happening. We used to get pinched in the butt on a regular basis. Our manager brushed it off and said the offenders just needed to get laid more. At least one male coworker took it upon himself to never let a couple if regulars deal with us girls - he'd motion us to be busy elsewhere and he'd intercept them and make them deal with him instead.

I hope your daughter takes your advice the next time she feels uncomfortable with something said or done to her. I know how hard it can be to say something though because for many of us, we fear being seen as impolite….which is ironic!! They are the ones being rude and disrespectful!  
 
We had a family run restaurant growing up and I still remember the day that a regular customer, an elderly man, asked me my age. I said 14 and he replied, “ah, the age of consent”. (It is now 16) I was naive back then and didn’t know what he was implying but when I told my grandparents what he said, my grandpa made sure to always be in the dining room when he came in. Gross old man!!
