Every single business has access down there one way or another by vehicle. Also, looks to me like only one lift of asphalt is down, and that would explain the puddle not draining because asphalt isn't at curb height.  
 
Same ol complaining every year, same old telling people they don't know how to do a job. When in reality majority of you on here have never worked a day of construction in your life.  
 
I'm happy it's shut down. Stops idiots from speeding thru putting people at risk because they are angy that there is construction. Deal with it.

Just need the lights up and going… a little iffy in the dark of night with the 4-way stop!

Very unsafe at night with no light shining to even light the intersection now that traffic is moving.  
No warnings.  
Poor signage.  
 
Embarrassing.  
 
Just like the signage that was desperately needed at Richmond, 20th and 34th/Willowdale which went up too-little-to-late. No accountability.

How about we say thanks to the road crew for there amazing job they did! Site it took longer but part of that was out of there control! It’s a dark corner but every car comes with that little knob on the dash that turns on your headlights! Use it! There’s much worse things to complain about than the lack of a few lites at the corner, like Popeyes drive thru lol! Good job crew, looks awesome!

Yes, let’s complain about the Popeye’s drive through instead! It’s ‘much worse’!  
 
 
The intersection at 26th & Brandon was unlit & temporarily very unsafe for drivers and pedestrians. But let’s not ensure everyone’s safety. It’s so much easier to be unaccountable!  
 
But if someone was struck or injured or died, that would have called those accountable it in to question.  
 
But only then. Not before.

I was nearly T-boned on two occasions because of people blowing through the 4-way stops. One during the day, and once in the evening. The only reason I didn't get hit was because I judged based on their speed coming toward the stop sign that they had no intention of stopping, so I didn't proceed into the intersection.  
 
I also witnessed plenty of people blow through the stop signs where I wouldn't have been hit, but someone else may have been.  
 
It is astounding how many people pay zero attention when driving.
