Which one is better, and which one do you have.

Westman

Neither is better than the other.  
 
Search previous threads and you will find ups and downs with both.  
 
I use Bell MTS, havent had issues, just hate the pricing (but based on what I pay compared to what I can get with Westman, no price difference for me once I start adding in the multiple wifi extenders).

One thing to remember, westman is a co-op, so you might get back a little refund each year depending on revenue generated, not guaranteed but better than nothing back from the other guys especially if the price is the same for both anyways.  
 
I've heard that when you move out of province or cancel your account you can end up with a decent chunk of equity back too if you've been a member for a long time, every year it adds up.

Westman Cable is far better than BellMts.

Both crap - customer service sucks !

I can't speak for mts/bell as I've been with westman for 20+ years but the few times (less than 5) I've needed service over that time they've always been on time and quick to complete.

Yes, when we moved to Winnipeg (out of the trading area) we were able to cash out our Westman Communications and Heritage Co-op equities. Between the two it was over $1000.  
 
 
edit: as an aside, anyone outside Brandon that is in a town or city served by Shaw... if all you need is internet go with a third party provider that uses Shaw's lines. It is much cheaper than the big two.
