There is a lot of fires in the Winnipeg area in just a few months. More than I can remember. Loss of life has occurred. Loss of property. Danger to firemen and others.  
 
It just seems to me to coincidental.  
 
Though no arson has been confirmed.  
 
In this age of so much technology and science it is not inconceivable that arson did occur which cannot be detected.  
 
Anyway it is a disturbing trend.  
 
As the properties and locations are different it is hard to define.  
 
Hopefully this trend will stop before any more damage and loss will occur.

I don't watch the news much anymore so not sure whats going on, but last few months have been extremely cold, perhaps its simply a case of unsafe heating situations leading to more fires than usual, space heaters and stoves and such.  
 
Or people going stir crazy and acting out, hard to say really

The fires are in homes business construction areas.  
 
The cold temperatures really affect the ability of firefighters to fight fires with freezing hoses etc.  
 
Some say smoking. Some unknown at this time.
