I had a job interview months ago and they are requesting proof that I graduated from High School. Do I contact BSD or the school directly? It has been over 10 years

You need to apply for it from Manitoba government and pay upfront.
https://www.edu.gov.mb.ca/k12/studrec/marks.html

If the employer just asked for proof you can use your diploma you received at graduation if you or your parents still have it- that is all I needed for my job they didn’t ask for trans:cript.

Start with school

Start with the school. If it's over 10 years you may need to go to the province as indicated above, but the individual schools have different policies etc.

I recently (December) got a copy of my high school trans:cript directly from my high school in Winnipeg. I graduated in 1995.

Try there first especially rural school. They seem to keep everything and 10 years is really not a long time ago.

Employers usually only want graduation certificate. But depending on the job I guess more detail may be required.

Personally what you did for marks in high school don’t show who you are now. Old news.

Thanks everyone. I contacted the school directly and received the paper. I did contact BSD who told me I can contact the school first (regardless if it has been over 10 years) The employer asked for proof of graduation so this was good enough

PS: I lost my diploma or I just do not know where it is right now LOL
