Does anyone know if the play place will remain after the Reno? I can see from the highway the play structure has been removed.

Most McDs no longer have play structures. I wonder how much dried pee was left up in it? Cause they were always bad for kids having accidents and parents not caring

They are removing all play structures across canada during renovations as well as getting rid of the self serve drink fountains and going back to staff giving you drinks.

also heard that they will not longer have condiments and napkins, straws at our dispense. We will need to ask at the front for extras and they will be charging for certain items. Napkins will be limited.

Ya! 25 billion in revenue last year just isn't enough.

Does anyone know the estimated time of completion?

Even Burger King scrapped the play area for the kids after their long-awaited Reno. Having worked there around a decade ago, when I was 18, that thing was a pain to sanitize. And I was TRYING!  
 
I would have hated for my work to have been evaluated by a CBC marketplace investigative reporter with a black light or a petri dish lol.  
 
I guess the pandemic must have put it all into perspective. There is no sanitizing these things properly, so get rid of them. Speaking of marketplace, the recent episode on Gym cleanliness is an excellent predictor of what some of those play matts may have been like.
