Just curious if anyone in Brandon has either gotten a bylaw ticket or warning about their garbage bins being left in the backlane and not on your property?  
I have seen the info in the Brandon Sun a couple of times but still see backlanes full of bins (not on collection dates). Maybe it hasn't officially started yet?

I got a warning a while ago. I contacted the department of Sanitation. I told them my bins had been in my yard and not in the back lane.the offending bins were still in the lane. I was informed they would investigate the next day.  
The next day I received a call. ‘How do you get into your back lane?’  
Turns out it was my neighbours bin.

That reminds me. There are a few piles of Trash in my lane that I've been meaning to call them about. Remants of long gone tenants in nearby apartments.  
 
That is downtown for you lol.  
 
But I kinda don't blame them. Cost me $45 + 3 mattress bags to properly dispose of 3 mattresses some time ago. But it was the only solution for someone who couldn't drive at the time.  
 
Next time I'll just rent a Uhaul for the day.
