Has anyone else had a couple of guys driving a grey truck with a Bitumen tank offer to put Driveway sealer on?  
They said that they just finished a couple of jobs in town, had extra driveway sealer left over, gave a super quick estimate and offered a half price discount.  
They had a business card with a Calgary number and a company name of Drive Seal, but no online presence. All I could find is a warning from the RCMP against seasonal driveway sealer scams.  
We of course said NO, but thought we should share here so others are aware.

yes, they stopped when I was working in my front yard offered to seal driveway for $6000.oo, said no thankyou. My driveway is long single lane. Then offered to do it for $5000.oo. No thankyou again. Said I would phone couple paving companies in town to see if that possible.

I thinks 5 or 6 thousand is pretty high. I'd shop around for better pricing.

Guy showed up at my house and a couple of neighbours had it done. Price was too high for me. Why are you calling it a scam?
