Very interesting how quiet it is on here not one mention of I will not mention the name, how is it possible that not one person posted about this

In my opinion, there are far more important things to worry about, i.e. the state of city of Brandon, and even Canada vs another country at this time.

I'd say you don't understand the impact of the US election has on Canada.

how the shooter was a young adult male with right-wing views. It will be interesting to see if investigators find his motive. Sounds like in school he was heavily bullied by others. So bullying can lead to deadly consequences in the future and isn't "innocent" fun.

this incident to be more punishing on people who don't agree with him. He's already looking to severely punish the trans community for existing. Same with women's rights to abortion or even looking to outlaw contraception products. Lot of this is to please the religious christian conservatives.  
 
Even after this attempt, they are making him look more godly by saying god deflected the bullet, when the shooter just missed.  
 
No, he's going to be more ruthless if he gets elected. But at this point who on the Democratic side can even contend if Biden were to step down, think it too late in the game for someone else.

Things are going to improve. trump and his supporters are blaming the assassination attempt on Biden. The FBI and DHS have warned of probable retaliation in days to come. The choice of VP candidate is worrisome-he will surely see to it that things escalate.  
 
There is worry that Biden cannot beat trump, but I'm not sure they can substitute someone else and have any hope of beating trump. Not at this late date.

Wow some of you are sad that a human that maybe doesn’t support the over liberal non-science based craziness didn’t get unalived ? Maybe trump has more worries about who gets GAS and is looking at making sure the country isn’t over run with drugs and dangerous people. Unfortunately the dems/libs picked a dementia puppet as a front runner and didn’t look else where and go for diversity over who can do a good job. Even if it wasn’t Trump, it would have been a republican in the White House come Nov/ Jan because those that vote (except the dead and made up) are tired of feeling like they are in danger.

How ruthless was he during his first term, what makes you think he would be some kind of ruthless dictator this go around ?  
 
I try to pay attention to politics, canadian and american, but I seem to have a hard time remembering a lot of the details what with them behaving worse than children most of the time, regardless of party.  
 
But I do seem to remember the bulk of his 4 year term as president being mostly hamstrung by congress and demonstrations, I assume the same thing will happen again ?  
 
Yes he stacked the supreme court with republican judges but I seem to remember if justice ginsberg had agreed to step aside earlier when she got too old that might not have happened, has similar vibes to current situation with President Biden does it not ?

Americans seem more concerned about an aging President that has a good core group of ethical people around him than the aging former president that lies like a sidewalk. He had multiple convictions and wants to be dictator and has a core group of felons willing to help once they are pardoned. I can’t believe that the Evangelical population is willing to overlook everything he’s done.
